We had a lazy day on the roof terrace lapping up the sunshine & chatting to other guests in the hotel exchanging travel stories... Ed was lovely he was with his partner travelling Europe from Toronto, which was our first stop we told them how much we loved Canada & would definitely be back! There was a group of girls too from London on a girlie weekend, such a small world when we mentioned Burnley & one of the girls grandparents lived on Lockyer avenue! We got ready after lunch and went down to the fan zone in our new Brazil tops for the game! The atmosphere was great and the fanzone was packed! We found a fab little tapas bar with €1 beers whilst the games were on & food was really good! We went round a few bars afterwards the city was really busy & buzzing with the World Cup on!
