We both slept solidly for the first time in weeks the hotel was lovely and the rooms were really bright modern and spacious! Felt really comfortable being in Europe after many insecurity’s in South America. Needless to say we survived and I loved every minute of it! We went up to the roof terrace with a coffee & enjoyed a few hours sunshine before walking to the huge Parque Eduardo which was close to the hotel we got a mini picnic & sat in the sunshine for a few hours relaxing & enjoying the weather! We went back to the hotel for a shower & got ready for the football down at the fan zone! We watched the first half then walked along the river where we found a little mini festival set up for different cultures, there was a stage with acts on & various food & drink stalls. We sat down & had a few cheap €1 super bocks. Kurt ended up playing football with a young lad who was having a kick about. After we went for a walk towards Barra Alta where we ended up in the middle of a huge BGOT parade, very Loud bright gay parade which was really entertaining we ended up following the parade down to the river & dancing along!
