Hello! So I am in Surfers Paradise and it is...raining! Yep its winter here right now so its about 12-15C and raining alot!

I went out to buy jeans, a jumper and an umbrella lol but its still cool. We are at the apartment that Lesley's paretns rented for a week for her its amazing we have a kitchen so we can actaully do some cooking and clean our clothes!

Brisbane is nice also, only there for 2 days though then out here, we head back on Fri then its job hunting and sort a flat. We have decided to live in Brisbane for 6months. SO will get a 3 bed flat and a job for that time make and try ot save some money then after that travel around the country for 8-10 weeks depending on how long we want to spend in other parts of the world! Cant wait to seattle for a bit its going to be so nice I think to meet folk from the city and get a feeling for Aussie life but I love it here already so the 'Sarah's plan to move to Oz' is still in play!!

Its been a but of a down time in Australia so far though, with the hit of my god we need to find work to pay to live in a city across the world and with the financial situation..and also with the loss of nan. I am going to miss her so much - I am happy to be in constant contact with mum and dad and the rest of the family. I wish I could fly home right now! Its hard being so far away from the family, but I am following families advice trying to be positve and know nan would want me to stay and enjoy myself.

I will post again soon to let you know if it has stoppe raining and how the flat/job hunting is going!
