Getting out of India was just as crazy as when we first arrived. While waiting inside Goa's airport a rat about a foot n a half casually bounced through the middle of the check in area, stopped, looked around, then carried on to behind where the baggage was stored. None of the staff seemed to be bothered.
We arrived into Mumbai at midnight and our flight wasn't until 6am. So we had plenty of time to waste, which was lucky as when we managed to find the terminal where we needed to be there was something that can only be described as a mini riot. People shoving, shouting and getting angry. One police man stood across the road not paying too much attention. We didn't have a clue what was happening. So after observing from a distance we worked out that this was just the que to get inside the airport. There was no system or method to the que, people would simply turn up and push in as they pleased, which only made things worse. There were a few other confused looking travellers like ourselves in the que which made us feel a little better. So we joined the 'que' and after an hour or so we made it inside.
