Yesterday me and Josh went on a camel safari in the desert, although the desert is looking pretty green at the moment as the monsoon period is only just ending.

This was my first time on a camel. When the camel goes to stand up it feels like it's going to chuck you off. Camels aren't the comfiest things to sit on, our bums are so sore now!

We relaxed on the sand dunes and got to watch the sun setting it was beautiful. It was a wonderful experience.

When we returned to the base camp, there were a group of people playing on the drums and other instruments. There was also a gypsy dancer, it was fun to watch.

We had a choice of sleeping either in the desert or at base camp. We wimped out and stopped at base camp, although this wasn't the best idea as we got put in a hut with a twig roof which had a rat in it. I wasn't happy with this so we got moved to another hut, which had no fan in, so this made it unbearably hot. We decided to sit outside under the stars for abit, until someone came along and asked if we wanted to move rooms, so we got moved into one with a normal ceiling and a fan, why couldn't they of put us in here in the first place? Ahhh well all in all it was a good experience getting to go out into the desert on a camel :).
