Jodhpur, the blue city, I think theres two reasons why this city is painted blue. One is to control the temperature of the houses as it gets very hot and the other is to repel mosquitoes. Once you look over the city from the Mehrangarh fort it doesn't matter what reason, as the views are truly amazing. This is where we went as soon as we arrived in Jodhpur. After having a tour around the fort we were taken back to our hotel. It's a little out of the way from the city so there's not much to do. It's a nice looking place though and Farooq said their home cooking is very good.
