Breakfast was enjoyed from the great heights of Castle Hill.Unlike the 10s of enthuasts walking and even running up the very steep climb, we drove to the top!The views were spectactular. (wouldn't let me upload the photo I wanted to show you all though!!) The remainder of the day was spent exploring the town, walking down the promenade, visiting art galleries and the very interesting cultural centre as well as a little spot of shopping.

We cooked up a storm for dinner - literally enough food for 5 nights!We found some meat on offer (and still very much in date) in our favourite Woolworths.A delicious Chicken stir fry and spag bol later we were well fed and the cool box was full.We utilised the very good bbqs on the beach - more like hot plates - to effectivley cook our feast!

We camped with the truckers at a BP Truck stop just outside town and returned to the beach in the morning to soak up some rays and improve the tan before the fairly long drive south to Airlie Beach.
