Well what a place to spend your birthday! Travelled to Fraser Island by ferry after picking up our 4 x 4's. Then we did a small hike in the morning through the rain forest followed by driving the main strip of beach up to Indian head, where we did a hike up the headland where you can see sting rays and sharks in the ocean below! Had a all you can eat Mexican for dinner, complete with champagne and chocolate cake - yum! The next day we drove to Lake Birrabeen, which was stunning, like in the photo it has an almost white sand beach and beautiful clear cool fresh water, and you can swim without the fear of sharks! Next we went to Lake Mckenzie, the most famous lake and the biggest, this was nice to but I preferred the smaller one as less people there! Would of liked to of spent more time here, it is possibly the most beautiful place on earth!
