Hello everyone!
Just to update you on what we have been doing today...
We started out our day with our first tuk tuk journey, scary as it is basically a 3 wheeled super supped up golf cart with no doors driven by a boy racer!!! (also often on the wrong side of the road!) But never the less, we arrived at the Grand Palace (just one of the king's residences in Bangkok!!) in one piece.

The grand palace is beautiful, look at the pictures. The detail that is on everyone of the huge buildings is just unbelievable, the gold and the colours of glass and paint are amazing, the pictures are great but just dont do it justice! btw, we have plenty more to bored you with when we get home but the internet connection in the hotel is really slow so it would have taken weeks to put the 100+ pictures on!

From the grand palace we took another tuk tuk (yes we are hooked! Easier to barter and at least 1/2 the price of a taxi!) and headed off to the skytrain again and then up to the Chatuchak market. Again, the Thai people do not do things by 1/2s! Thids place is massive! You can buy anything from Food and Clothes, shoes, silks and jewellry to dogs and mice (that was quite upsetting!) Again see the pictures and we will tell you more when we get home because we are running out of time on the computer!

We are both keeping journals so that we can remember to tell you everything that we have done when we get back, otherwise we would spend all of our trip on the internet to get it all on here!

We head off on our trip on Tuesday so we're not sure when we will be able to get onto a computer again, but hopefully not too long.

Love to you all, thanks for all of the messages and e-mails and txts, it's great to hear from you all! Keep them coming! The photos that we looked at yesterday have had 140 people look at them, we didnt kjnow that we knew so many people!! Mum and Sheils, was it you looking a lot of times!?????
