MISSION BEACH - RAIN RAIN RAIN

We arrive around midnight and it is absolutely tipping it down! Doesn't look like we are going to get to see the amazing Mission beach here as it is still teeming down when we get up the next day. Thankfully we are staying at a great hostel Scotty's - can't say enough good things about this place and the guys that own/run it - and we have arrived for BBQ night, bonus! We also meet up with Karen who was on Fraser Island when we were there and she has the quality idea of buying some cider; cider and a BBQ it's all good from here. We have a brilliant night getting happily drunk and trading stories, despite the rain we are sad to leave in the morning but have arranged to meet Karen again in Cairns for a proper night out.
