Arriving in Wellington Bay these lights reminded me of the High Light and Low Light to guide boats into the Tyne.

Last Tuesday we looked round the very north of South Island and Nelson City. Here is New Zealand's version of Ben Nevis. Ever the mountain have names derived from the UK as well as place names. We finished the day along another interesting coastline on our way to Picton and the ferry.

All through New Zealand we have been fascinated with letter boxes. Most are on the ned of drives so it is easy for the post delivery and mostly unlocked. This is an example.
