During our trip we have been in large international airports. This is refreshing as we could sit in the departure lounge (more like an open air cafe in the sun) and watch our plane land, taxi nearly up to where we were sitting, watch the incoming passengers pass us and then board ourselves.

As we were driving down the last road to our hotel which is next to the sea we were pleased that we were staying in a tsunami safe area !!!!

Yes we are in Honolulu. The next 4 photos are the last from the Big Island. After our evening at the volcanos we stopped at anItalian Restaurant on the way back. After telling us the lagers they sold they told us they only had one beer and just look what it was. Today we saw more in a shop.

This is the same eruption taken just before full darkness. Today we are having a quieter local day which will include a Farmers Market and a visit to a coffee plantation. We weren't aware but we are staying in the home of Kona coffee. Tomorrow we fly to Honolulu.
