Along the next part of the pier was an informative display of the history and geography of Canada. Then we came to the Steamworks Brewery and went in for a drink. Last night we had tried a bottle of this pale ale. Just to let you know that was the 28th different bottle of beer we have had this holiday !!!!

We walked along the Front from Coal Bay and Burrard Inlet and came to the Olympic Cauldron. This is where the flame was burning for the Winter Olympics.

Well despite our pessimism about the weather it was sunny ,cool and slightly windy for most of the day and did not rain until after 4pm. As you can see from the photo the cloud level is relatively low. We have seen more seaplanes in one place than ever before. The regularly fly in and out, with people, post and supplies. You v Can see in the distance the Lions Gate Bridge. Not as big as the Golden Gate.

When we tried boarding the evening city trip on the evening the bus was full so we could not go. Irritating but we did something else which was have a ride on the cable car. There is no health and safety. You can hold on and hang off the side. We had a good flight from San Francisco to Vancouver.
