17th January - We have spend the last 3 nights in krabi, which is a really nice town! We hired a moped for 2days and our 1st stop was the tiger cave temple, the main thing to do here if you are feeling energetic is to climb 1,237 steps to the top of a mountain to see the Buddha statue! If I knew the pain that it was going to be climbing to the top before I started then I probably would have changed my mind, but when we finally reached the top the views were incredible and it was so peaceful, so defiantly worth the struggle....we then drove to Ao Nang which I thought was going to be just around the corner, 45minutes later we arrived!

After having an all you can eat buffet for £5 each we thought we'd try our bartering skills again! We proved we still have them as we came home with a vest, purse and bracelet for £4!
The next day we went to the hot springs which were 50km away, in these natural springs the water was up to 45 degrees, it was hotter than any Jacuzzi that I've ever been in!

That morning we had checked into a new hostel which was exactly what we thought all of the hostels out here would be like, clean, friendly and a good night life. So that evening we chilled out with a few people from all over the world and whilst I was being civilised playing pool, Sarah was across the room playing beer pong!! No surprise there and winning 2/2 games!!

This morning we travelled to Railay beach, which is on the mainland but only accessible by long tail boat as it is surrounded by limestone cliffs! The views here are amazing and there are some cool things to do here so tommorow we are having an adventure day.

Whilst we were busy relaxing on the beach today watching people rock climb, all of a sudden we saw a guy base jump off a cliff above us, then another 4 to follow, pretty impressive. I don't think we will be giving that a try any time soon tho!

Next stop phi phi islands, bring it on!!!
