Hello, sorry it has been so long since my last blog. Things have been really busy! I'm afraid that this blog will get quite repetitive since we have been spending the days on the beach and the nights going out (on the beach).

On the 4th we checked out of our hotel in Siem Reap and got the bus back down to Phnom Penh. We found a very cheap room for the night, had some food and went to bed! I had the most uncomfortable sleep ever because the room was SO hot - now we know why it was so cheap!!

On the 5th we flew from Phnom Penh to Bangkok. We then went and spent way too much money shopping on Koh San Road. That evening at 7.30pm (after having to walk about a mile with our backpacks!) we got a bus to Chumphon. Jess and I managaed to save ourselves 2 seats each so the journey wasn't too bad. We arrived in Chumphon at 5am and had to wait around for 2 hours until the ferry left. We finally got to Ko Pha Ngan at 11am. Jess and I checked in and had a bit of a sleep before going to meet Georgia Sharp (a friend from school). That evening (6th May) we went to the beach for a few buckets. Jess and I ended up going to a pool party at Coral Bungalows with 2 canadians we met which was really good fun but we were pretty knackered by the time we got to bed!

On the 7th we went to the beach and chilled out all day. I spent the entire day in the shade but still managed to catch the sun a bit on my legs somehow. That evening we went back to the beach and went out again, had a few more buckets and a good old dance. We also met up with Kelly, Chantal, and Rachel (more friends from school) it is really good to see familiar faces and be with a larger group of people.

On the 8th we went back to the beach again during the day. I am getting though my books so quickly at the moment because i simply cannot leave the shade between 11 and 3pm! That evening was the 'Pre-Full Moon Party' (again, on the beach). I actually preferred the pre party to the actuall Full moon party. It was Buddah's birthday (i think) on the 8th so the music wasn't allowed to start until after midnight so for the first half of the night everybody was sat around chatting on the sand which made the atmosphere really chilled out. Nevertheless once the music got going we all started dancing again and we finally got home around 5am.

The 9th was the full moon party! I spent the day sleeping (i'm really not cut out for all these late nights!) and then met Georgia and Jess at the beach around 4pm. We then went for some food and then went to Cas's room (Cas is a friend of Sabrina and Sabrina is travelling with Georgia) to paint ourselves with neon paint! The Full moon party was intense to say the least. The entire beach was packed, we had to really keep an eye on each other or we would completely loose each other! I bumped into Sacha Craig (another friend from school) who i haven't seen for ages so it was really nice to catch up with her again. Jess and I also bumped into the guy that we met in Kashmir which was the wierdest thing! We danced and danced and danced until the sun came up and then headed back at around 6am but there were still pleanty of people still going strong dancing along the beach.

Today (the 10th) we are doing nothing. We spent all day by the pool and i think we are watching a movie tonight. Tomorrow we are getting the ferry to Ko Tao where hopefully i will be able to do some diving (although annoyingly i am starting to get a cold, but i think a good night sleep should chase it off).
