Hello!

I bet you weren't expecting another blog so soon!! We are at the hotel because our train isn't for a few hours so i thought i would kill some time.
I have uploaded pictues of Jaipur (my birthday), Ranthambore (probably a bit boring - there are just pictures of animals and scenery), and Agra.

Today we got up at 4.45am so that we would be at the Taj Mahal for sunrise. Our driver was a bit late and then when we got there they wouldn't let me take playing cards and my ipod into the area (things that just happened to be in my bag, i wasn't planning to use them!!) so i had to find the locker rooms so that i could put them away before i went in (Nightmare!!)!! After all of that we were still able to see a bit of the sunrise and it was also nice and quiet (thanks for the tip Dad). We took SO many photos because unfortunately jess and i were having bad days so it took us ages to find a picture that we actually liked! It was really strange actually being there, it felt a bit surreal, and even now as i am looking at the photos it feels as though i have been super-imposed there!!

After the Taj, we went back to the hotel to have a bit of breakfast. Over breakfast we met a really nice couple who have done a lot of travelling around South East Asia so gave us loads of places to visit, good places to stay, favourite restaurants etc. it was really helpful of them. Afterwards we went to Agra fort which was nice. We didn't get a guide but it was really nice to just wonder around the fort and chat. On the way back we visited a marble factory and we were shown how stones are set into marble and shown smoe pretty impressive marble tables, considering a set of 5 coasters cost around 85 pounds we gave the tables a miss! On the way out one of the workers gave Jess and I a bindi made from marble free of charge (I think the first free thing in India!!) which was really nice of him.

We then went back to the hotel to chill out (and write this blog). At 21.15 we are getting on a train to Varanasi which should arrive at around 7.30am. Can't wait!
