Today we visited the Mayan ruins of Tulum. Before we went we had breakfast and I tried those Mexican eggs! Very good eggs, I have uploaded a photo. We caught the bus to Tulum and spent an hour wandering around the ruins and taking photos. It is such a beautiful place.

Half of the group then went off to visit a cenote and the rest of us went to Akumel beach. We had a go at snorkelling but I did not see any turtles as they were a little further out in the sea. One of the guys in our group swam out further and took some great photos.

Tomorrow we have a long day as we are travelling 8 hours by bus and boat to get to Belize :'(. Really excited about Belize though because it is great for snorkelling and I may get a chance to see some turtles and Sharks!! I have also heard that their seafood is fab!

The group are really cool too. There are 14 of us so far but 2 more are coming we think. I'd say just over half the group are from Oz and the rest from the UK and there's a man from Berlin. Everyone seems really nice and have such amazing stories of previous travel.
