Finally made it to Caye Caulker -a little island just out from Belize City. Such a long journey but it wasn't too bad considering. 4 hours on a private bus and then 4 hours on a chicken bus (check my photos) and then an hour on a water taxi. Caye Caulker is BLISS! I want to live here.

On the way the bus driver played reggae music which kept us going.

After the bumping boat ride we arrived on the island of Caye Caulker. OMG I feel like I am in heaven. The beach, the sun, the people <3 <3 The motto on the island is Go Slow. Everyone is so chilled and relaxed. I've already had 3 glasses of rum punch. It's so cheap. Pure loving life.

I also had my very first lobster. BEAUT!!! It was soo goooood. Tomorrow I will be having chicken and rice and peas etc etc etc. Yes I am living the life.

In the morning we are going on a snorkelling day trip. We will hopefully see some fish, turtles, sharks, stingray and lots of coral and reef. So excited!!

I'm off out now for more cocktails and rum punch!
