We arrived in Bangkok at about 11.30 in the morning, asked a random traveller did she want to share a taxi with us to Koh San Road to split the cost. She obliged and we had a rather random and long taxi ride into Bangkok. The driver was hyper and after having 5 kids decided he was worthy of the title 'superman'. He pointed out a few random sights while we were stuck in traffic e.g. the football stadium and stated he didnt have any interest in football then he broke into a tune no-one recognised only to stop and tell us we missed the Kings 84th Birthday yesterday......funny!

At Koh San and we found where the Essex girls were staying and lobbed our bags into the storage area to be collected later for our over night bus to Ko Tao. We met the girls for lunch then had a wander around the area picking up a few essentials for our beach hopping. Myself and the essex girls became close after all three of us got waxed in the same room beside one another - was quick and painless though. We also met the Alex's who the girls had met previously and all of us just wasted the day together.

At 8pm after a quick change and deodrant spray we were ready to get on the bus to Ko Tao..........
