Today we have a few hours to explore Copenhagen, and are then boarding the cruise ship at noon. Ship departs at 5:00pm and will be cruising overnight to Skagen, Denmark.
We both crashed early last night and were up before 7am. Had a wonderful free breakfast at the hotel - croissants, cheeses, smoked meats and fish, cheese, fabulous coffee. Wonderful.
Donna and I took a walk along the water behind the Marriott and over to the Library. There was a wonderful garden there with beautiful statuary. The library was not open yet unfortunately.
We found a little wine shop and boutght a bottle of Moët and Chandon champagne for the boat. The shop owner was a tall gorgeous Danish man, and I was able to snap a photo of him, and his moose.
Departing the hotel at 1130am to head over to board the ship.
We were upgraded to a cabin with a balcony! Nice bottle of wine from Sam. Signed up for more day excursions.
Wonderful dinner of escargot, Atlantic cod, creme brûlée.
