By the time we reached the hotel it was around 2.30am. First impressions were that the hotel was more like an almost 1 star than the 4 star it was billed as, even though the staff were friendly. After packing up ready to leave, we went down to Shinagawa Station to buy our train tickets for later then had a very nice set lunch in the gorgeous Dean & Delucca bakery. So much delicious food on display, it was quite difficult to make our choice and even more difficult to get our order understood bearing in mind our very limited Japanese.
