After packing up ready to leave, we went down to Shinagawa Station to buy our train tickets for later then had a very nice set lunch in the gorgeous Dean & Delucca bakery. So much delicious food on display, it was quite difficult to make our choice and even more difficult to get our order understood bearing in mind our very limited Japanese. I can only say I am glad we didn't spot the cakes until after we had finished because they were amazing!

Back at the hotel we checked out and then made the journey back to the station, much more difficult this time as we had all the luggage in tow, but we finally made it. We caught the limited express train for the short journey to Haneda Airport and were soon checked in and ready to fly. We enjoyed a final drink in the lounge as we said goodbye to Japan. We have really enjoyed ourselves and already looking forward to next year!
