Our last day in Hanoi but still plenty of time as we are not leaving until the evening. After breakfast we packed up and checked out. After a very nice buffet breakfast at the hotel we stepped out into the busy street and headed, once again, towards Hoan Kiem Lake. As before we found that all the streets around the lake were closed off and pedestrianised allowing people of all ages to wander freely enjoying their Sunday without danger from traffic while young children and young people played games such as street hockey in the middle of the wide roads. The alarm went off at 5am and we leapt into action, on the Airport Express by 6am and so to the airport in very good time. Before going through we collected our all important Banana Wifi which we are trying out in the hope it will save us from paying exorbitant roaming fees.
