Highlights Well the last couple of weeks have been a bit of a blur, so please forgive me for the late update and the fact I can't really remember everything we have done. After a 28 hour coach journey, which we originally thought wwould take us directly to Cambodia, but actually took us there via Bangkok (again!!) we eventually made it. Getting over the border was a bit of a nightmare, despite already having our visas (which meant we didnt have to bribe officials) as it still seemed to take forever. We took the 3 day slow boat from Northern Thailand to Laos in the hope that it would be a relaxing and peaceful journey from which we could take in the scenery. We ended our short stay in Chiang Mai with a trek to the mountains. We were booked onto a 3 day trek (which I later swapped for the 2 day trek) and were put with a really lovely group, all of which were doing the 2 day trek.
