Aha I am finally in Vancouver- my first stop. My first adventure was walking with all my luggage to my hostel from where the bus dropped me off- I got some weird looks coz I have so much stuff with me. Anyhoo then after making it to the hostel, the girl told me she couldnt find my booking but she sorted it all out anyway. The rooms are quite nice, 2 bunk beds, 4 lockers and a sink. I am currently sharing with another Aussie girl, a girl from Britain and I have no idea where the other is from...somewhere in Europe I think.

Vancouver is very different to Perth, alot older looking. The buildings are mainly old style concrete ones and its not as clean as Perth. That said it is still a wonferdul town. The locals are very friendly! I ventured into a supermarket to by a couple of things. Food seems cheaper here, but Im not sure. I confused the girl at the meat counter when I only wanted one slice of ham, I think I lost her somewhere between my accent and the face I only one thin slice of ham!! haha

Its now almost 11pm and the lack of sleep is catching up to me so I am going to head off to bed. I promise this will get more exciting as I actually start to do stuff!
