We had a fairly long journey across to Ko Samui from Phuket by minibus and then ferry, mostly filled by sleep, harry potter and playing psp. Upon arrival it was obvious that it was worth the effort as we have an apartment close to the beach and the weather was so much nicer. We headed straight for the beach and into the water to cool off. The water was like getting into a tepid bath, but still did the trick. Having been couped up for a long period of time I decided to go for a long swim out to a flag which took me half an hour or so!

We headed into the main town in the evening to check it out and had some more delicious thai food for ridiculously cheap. After wandering around for a while we found a really relaxed beach bar with beds instead of chairs! So we laid back and watched the sea over a nice cold pint. Life is tough!
