Dear Sam, On the front page of the Times today it advised Gap Year students not to do good works but instead travel the world and have a good time. So glad tou are doing your bit! Enjoy before you return to a typical English summer. Love from both

I'm back at work for 3 days now and hoping the sun will be out again on Friday as I'm helping Martin sail his boat round from Swansea and are roather hoping not to be doing it in a gale! Looking forward to your next installment - are you going back for more boxing practice!

Applying my powerful analytic brain to your unexplained vomiting it seems to me that you should avoid not eating. All the best

Sam and Rory,
You have now heard about our lovely, typical summer. Are you sure you would not prefer to stay abroad and benefit from the sunshine and the sunburn...? I am not sure they have played any cricket at Worcs Cricket Ground (which is again under water) and a father and son died whilst trying to pump out water from Tewkesbury Rugby Club. Apparently, by the time you return, we should see some sunshine.
We hope you are still enjoying your marvellous trip.

You're world wind tour leaves me dizzy but you seem to be having a great time.

Hi, enjoyed the new snaps. Looks like you are having fun, especially synchro dancing. Angharad likes the gay messages on Rory's back and is much better now. Wondered if there would be a photo or two of you with Bertie and family? Best wishes from us all, that includes the Flossie grandparents. XX

Dear Sam, Have just been indulging in your super slide show again. Your pictures are superb and I now have the feel of Machu Pichu as I won't be going there myself. Hope you enjoyed your visit to Bertie etal. I gather you are now in Oz. Love Gr.

Glad to hear the bank card arrived safely. Have you heard about the flooding around the UK, not surprising when there was 4 inches of rain in a day, which has resulted in 5 deaths and millions of pounds of damge to property and agriculture. Loads more rain due at the weekend too, though was dry today. Luckily the rain missed us and the celar stayed dry! Cooks has had a good week with a Riding for the Disabled Fun Day yesterday, which resulted in her getting first and third rosettes and a trophy tonight for football. Martyn even awarded one to me for all the work as treasurer! Tilly inviting her class for sleepovers one by one so that she can show off the puppy, Lauren tonight. Saw Mark Nasey the other day and he was asking after you and telling me about his new baby. Hope you have fun in the USA, good shopping.

Sam and Rory,
We hope you are both feeling better. It was very strange talking to you, Sam, the other day and trying to allow for the time delay. Tim Henman has been driving us mad - opening day of Wimbledon, 2 sets each, 5 games all in the final set, at least 3 match points and match stopped due to bad light...! We have just been to visit Warwick School's new Science Centre. What an amazing building! Now they are about to knock down part of the old Science Centre.
You have probably heard that New Zealand scraped through to a win against South Africa which means they will continue to be the cocky favourites for the World Cup. Needless to say, Mark Nasey's account of the match was somewhat different! I would even support the Welsh than see the All Blacks win...
We hope you will continue to enjoy your trip. Cheers!
