Wow what an amazing 24hours. Having spent most of yesterday on the beach Rory and I decided to go in search on the famous Rio nightlife. No sooner than we got off the bus w bumped into some english people on gap years, which is a total rarity out here for some reason which was awesome. We then got interviewed by some woman with a TV crew which was quite funny and I guess means we may turn up on Brazilian TV at some point but who knows. We then went to one of the millions of bars for a few caphrinhas. We met an interesting guy in the bar who was in the Brazilian equivalent of SWAT and showed us his bullet wound scars hed got from fighting the very drug dealers we had seen only days earlier! Then we hit a few brazilian clubs getting back for an early night around 6am! This morning was sleep filled and fairly uneventful. Then in the afternoon we jumped out of a perfectly good plane at 10,000feet!!! Has to be the biggest adrenaline rush I have ever had in my life it was totally totally unbelievable! My heart is pumping just remembering it! The scenery was spectacular, I have come to the conclusion that rio must be the most beautiful city in the world, especially from so high up on such a clear day. I got a DVD of the jump which I?m hoping to get on here at some point but this computer is out of the stoneages so has no CD drive! Tomorrow is our last day in Rio and we are going to the sold out final of the Rio cup in the maracana which should be interesting!
