We managed to try some snowboarding yesterday (our bus didn´t show up the day before) which turned out to be harder than we thought! We had a lesson on a flat bit of ground, which we kept falling over on, and then decided to head to the big slope in the afternoon. This turned out to be a bad idea as it was so so steep...we both spent more time sprawled on the floor than we did stood up and only managed to go down once on the slope. We survived the salt flat tour! It was nice and warm for the first day and night (we stayed in a hostel made out of salt!!!), but the second night was freezing! Luckily we´ve managed to collect lots of layers on our travels! The flats were amazing-they streched out for miles and miles, and we also saw lots of lake, geysers and had a bath in the hot springs! We found computers that work (yay!)! Our trip down the World´s most dangerous road was nothing short of amazing!!! We were kitted up with helmets, goggles, buffs and overalls so we all looked the same!We had to travel down a tarmac bit first which was really good, but it was even better when we got to the dirt road! Puno was very nice! We arrived at about half 5 in the morning and couldn´t check in because all of the rooms were full, but by half past 6 we were on our way to Lago Titikaka for a tour! We went to one of the floating islands (which is actually floating-it´s made from bits of reed tied together!)and had a ride in a reed boat! Unfortunately we couldn´t go to a chinese restaurant the night before last as the one next to us had closed down and we couldn´t find another! We did, however, find an Irish bar and a McDonalds so all was well in the end!
