Rotorua has been quite action-pavked so far! We drove from Auckland to the Waitomo caves, where we visited the glow worm cave (it has thousands of glow worms on the ceiling-it was really pretty until i could see then looked like maggots.), and another cave which was massive and also very pretty. We're back in Nadi after a week in the Yasawas. When we arrived from NZ we stayed here for two nights then booked the trip through our hostel-we had a 4 hour journey on a ferry-like boat to get to Long Beach Resort which is quite far north. We booked to stay at long beach for 7 nights but after it was quite windy on the first few days wedecided we probably should have bought an accomodation and Bula pass (unlimited travel on the boat) and done a bit of Island hop...

We are in Auckland! I didn't realise how much I would appreciate the English language or having a toilet seat until now! The flight wasn't very pleasant-even though we did manage to blag the serats by the emergency exit so we had lots of extra leg room! I think I fell in love with NZ as soon as we arrived-everyone is very friendly and chatty-even the customs people wanted to talk to us, whereas in South America they didn't even look at us!
