The grass IS greener on the other side!
Up early to goodbye and make my way to the Victoria Coach Station where I grabbed a window seat for the 10 hour bus ride to Edinburgh. The landscape was lush, green, and flat with little stone or hedge borders dividing property. The bus stopped for an hour break where I bought a tea and some aspirin for achy muscles...well I thought it was just aspirin. "Anadin extra for Headaches, Aches and Pains" is Aspirin, Paracetamol and Caffeine combined in one easy to take tablet. I felt no pain as we journeyed on another 6 hours, but since I am not a coffee drinker, soda drinker, or even consistent tea drinker the caffeine had me buzzed WAY up! As we passed into Scotland from England I swear, the landscape somehow became even GREENER! I don't know how that is possible, but it seemed that way and the baby lambs all prancing about with trees and flowers blooming make me really feel like spring is here to stay. I walked to the hostel and, no joke, Braveheart was playing in the hostel movie room when I checked in! Haha! Took a much needed walk down the royal mile to get some exercise and try to clear out the jittery feeling from the drug and the 10 hour bus ride. Drove through Milton Keynes, Newcastle-u-tyne, Morpeth, Alnwich, and Berwick-u-Tween before we arrived in Edinburgh. From what I can see so far, downtown Edinburgh has an ancient beauty. I'll take a tour tomorrow morning at 11 and tell you more about it! Goodnight~

Jenn Boy, when you go international you go all out - enjoying their pharmaceuticals too! Enjoy Edinburgh! Last time I was in Scotland was my sophomore year of college. Can't say I remember much, ofcourse that could be due to the things I was imbibing at the time too. Whatever - have fun!
