Today was the 18th anniversary of my Dad's death, but a bright and sunny day with big adventures. I think he would have liked the thought of me out on an epic adventure. Train travel: Garmisch-Partenkirchen to Innsbruck to Verona to Milano Centrale. I arrived at almost 11pm to Milan and took the Metro 4 stops toward the hostel, but since it was late and dark I didn't walk the rest, instead I took a taxi and checked into the first hostel I've ever stayed in. Ostello la Cordata is like grown up summer camp. There are several big room with up to 8 beds (4 bunks) in each. It is clean, friendly and has plenty of hot water, free wifi and a kitchen. I like it better than most hotels I've stayed in. You have a big closet/locker to store your things during the day too.
Good night.
