Today began with some much needed laundry. Duomo Day I slept in and stayed cozy in my bed reading a book for a while. It is good to rest and pamper yourself during travel to avoid getting sick and the sore throat I had is almost completely gone. I ventured out to the Duomo and all of the shopping around downtown. There was also a festival going on with kids dressed up (like Halloween) and throwing confetti and spraying silly string everywhere! the pigeons didn't know what to do with all the confetti...

Today was the 18th anniversary of my Dad's death, but a bright and sunny day with big adventures. I think he would have liked the thought of me out on an epic adventure. Train travel: Garmisch-Partenkirchen to Innsbruck to Verona to Milano Centrale.
