Day 27 Anzac Day yesterday so had a moments silence with Aussie friends but after that muchos food beer and wine - cost 60euros! Day26 Da dah - got up at 1130am - what luxury :) so good to be able hang around our hostel all day and not get chucked out at 8am. Surrounded by Leonese restaurants - Had classy Spanish eggs scrambled with cod and potato plus a leek & pepper dish - hmm NZ$50 but breakfast and lunch. Day 24 Horrors - woke up with a big snork! Me lying on my back snoring! Fortunately no complaints of snoring in the night so I got away with it :) Still a bit sad walking through these little half dead villages - see photo - signs of wealth up to 50 yrs ago - now agriculture is mechanized - only the elderly left and the Camino cafes and Albergues.
