Day 38 Ha-my Eco friends tried to give me GF muesli made with flaked rice - but tasted terrible- think the flaked rice needs to be softened with hot milk? Day 37 Had a great sleep surrounded by 99 other snoring peregrinos according to Jeff but I didn't hear a thing - yeh. Day 36 Why didn't I realise it before -- my morale is directly connected to how good a sleep I have had! And now i am hitting the anti-flams at night I am sleeping much better. Even had a room to ourselves last night - a bed ea with sheets-stayed in v elegant 19C Manor House turned Albergue - NZ$45. Day 35 Another warm day at last -unzipped to shorts yesterday, and down to a cotton shirt today - quick bus ride then 'striding' up a ridge line high above the motorway in the valley - worth it for the views and spring wild flowers (weeds & scrub in NZ but looks good here. Jeff carried extra gear for me, and played 'Eye of the Tiger' so I got in a good rhythm :).

Day 34 Mixed experience in this new Albergue - totally overcontrolled with timed lights flicking on and off - I need longer in the toilet than that, but pls no spotlight in the middle of the night.
