Well went to visit the Grand Palace. Was absolutely gorgeous.

All the tiles were really vivid colours or covered in gold metallics. It was a really sunny day, so all the tiles were twinkling in the sunshine. On most of the temples around thr oofs, chimes were hung, which chimed in the breeze. They also had incense burning and people were on their knees praying, so the smell through the palace was really sweet.

Wanted to take a million photos as I have just never seen anything like that. Was truely gorgeous. We went into the main temple, which housed the emerald buddha. From my reading in the lonely planet I expected it to be massive. When you actually see it, its tiny!
