After we hit the road again we checked out the Death Valley Salt Basin - it kind of looks the same as the salt flats we get back home so kinda wasn't blown away. Route 66 to Barstow The guys from Williams gave us a few ideas of stops on the way from Williams to Death Valley along the 66. He mentioned a place called the Grand Canyon Caverns which is a dry cave. We are so glad we stopped. Grand Canyon Day. We were woken up during the night with the rv getting blown around. Must have been some very strong winds happening outside.
