Breakfast at the historic Boulder City. Wow what a jazzy little township. We ate breakfast at The Coffee Cup and walked through town admiring the brass statues which reflected on the workers lives and families while working on the Dam and the Great Depression days. It's quite a tourist attraction. Thankfully we were out of there in time before too many had arrived. Next stop - Vegas Baby!

Day 4? I think... Good morning from Boulder City. This morning we zoomed off at 8am! - finally we got up early. Having the heater on and windows open to let the light in helped. At the other stops it was too cool to get out of bed and it was causing a few delays! First stop a helicopter tour of the Hoover dam. As if we weren't impressed enough already the helicopter ride definitely was worth every penny. From what felt like almost a roller coaster in the car ...

We trekked a little along the historic Route 66 this morning but we are hoping to get another chance to see more. We left needles this morning and drove to Bullhead City for lunch. There was a nice picnic spot by the Colorado River. We put our feet in and the water was darn cold! Brrrr.
