Our Australian Adventure 2012
There stone triangles line a large part of the beach. They are tank stoppers. They were made in 1942 during the war to prevent a Japanese invasion along the beach. Apparently they stretched for 32 kilometres along the beach front. You can see the date and lot number inscribed in them.
If you look closely you can see people riding camels in the background.
