We left Yeovil early to have as much of the day as possible in London. Passed Stonehenge. It's still hard to get used to seeing thousand year old relics being so common. Got to London easily , an early checkin had been sorted for us, room lovely. All perfect. Got the train to London. Found the last minute ticket stand in Leicester square. Decided to go to so Wicked then went for lunch before heading to the British Museum. The museum is huge and full of items that the English collected when they were a force and have decided to keep. The Rosetta Stone is there behind glass, but they have a fake they let the public touch. Large sections of the Pantheon are also hoarded. You can only wonder how the ships got some of the large pieces back to England.
Then the show. It was certainly worth seeing. I enjoyed the story and effects. The singing was also very good, if not as dramatic as some of the more traditional musicals I have seen.
