After the high of the previous night a low last night when Derek and I had a falling out. Not always easy sharing accomadation with others, especially if you are of a similar mindset. Wise word of the day, just as if you set your mind on something you can often make it happen, equally your actions can bring about exactly what you want to avoid. I should be paid for this lol. Nevertheless I'm out bright and early today to explore St Kilda which is a charming European style seaside resort. I then spent a completely delightful Afternoon around the boutique shopping areas of Commercial Road and Chapel Street. A trendy vibe throughout, the staff in these shops are probably the friendliest I have ever encountered. Including an Irish guy managing a shoe shop who recommended me his mum's b&b if I ever visit Dublin and I even got a kiss from another! I also encountered some odd people today, including a women who said 'nobody is watching you so don't be afraid' and when I treated myself to a massage this evening I didn't expect the conversation to get onto how the world is going to end next year, ok........!In the evening Derek and I saw a film called The Green. Ok but nothing amazing. To finish the day off, I treated myself to a little guilty pleasure I have discovered out here. The $30 cents (20p) Macondald' s ice cream cone.
