We got a 15 hour sleeper bus from Nha Trang to Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City). The last bus we got on, a couple had five seats to themselves right at the back, so when they asked us where do you want to sit we said right at the back.

When we got to the bus there where already three people there at the back!! Sooo gutted, there was literally no room at all, and i was against the window next to f***ing Ali, who is not exactly small, and the air con could not go down enough to reach me it was f***ing so s*** and i smelt of b.o and was sweating my t*** off. Ali kept trying to snuggle into me so he nearly got knocked out 2!! He was in the middle of me and a random european so he probably had it worse. haha. It was funny after it!

We got to the main backpacker area and got a room for 1.50p pound a night each. You could wee, wash your hands, and shower at the same time..believe me i tried it haha!! I bought a camera for 4million dong, which is around 160 pound to replace my stolen camera off the lady boy and left to go to the cu chi tunnels.

The cu chi tunnels is an underground tunnel system used in the war against america. When they where under attack, they would retreat and hide and the tunnels where nearly impossible to find as they were well camoflauged. They also set traps everywhere, so american troops where scared to go in the area! It was so interesting, and I struggled getting in to one of the original tunnels. We crawled through 100m of the tunnels made bigger for tourists, and after ten minutes I was roasting hot and sweating so imagine being in there for months like some people did. We went for a few drinks that night but decided to leave the next day, as there was not much to do.
