I got a bus from Mildura back to Melbourne which took nine hours. I arrived back at 7am and was in desperate need of a hungry jacks (burger king) it is called hungry jacks apparently because there is already a burger king in Australia and they wont give up the name so they had to call it something else. I was f***ing nackered and was not checking in to the hospital untill 6pm so I decided to go back to coffee palace backpackers.

A lad who I know who works there let me put my bag in the back and had a good catch up with some familiar faces. Ended up playing pro evolution on the playstation most of the day. I set off by tram, but organised a all day drink session the day I get out of the hospital.
I got a wrong tram so I finally turned up to the hospital twenty minutes late. In the medical testing part, it was basically about twenty beds in a row, with exactly the same equipment as a normal hospital, like emergency buttons, electic beds etc. I got a locker to put all of my stuff in and then got dinner which was chicken curry with vegetables and rice, and lemon tart for dessert. s*** nice.!! Every bed has its own tv so just watched a film in bed then went to sleep.
Got woken up at 7am to a japanese women poking me. As i turned around she said "dont worry I wont rape you" I s*** myself haha she was so f***ing funny. I got a canula put in my arm and needed to stay in for four hours.
I was not allowed to leave the bed the whole time and if i needed the toilet I would need to piss in to a bottle. As I could not have breakfast, I had to drink a bottle of glucose and water which was like lemonade. Every thirty minutes they took blood out of my arm several times which is not too bad as long as you do not mind needles otherwise you are f***ed ha. Watched films in bed then after the four hours they took the canula out and I got lunch.
It had free internet so I spent alot of time sorting the rest of my trip out which was good. I woke up the next morning to watch the Liverpool v Chelsea match and see Liverpool get beat was s***. I got things stuck on to me called "dots" and then plugs get attached to them so they can check your heart rate. Then I got dosed.They pull a curtain around your bed then blindfold you, so you do not no if you are getting the real drug or the dud. It was with the anti inflamatory drug, which was five shots of what tasted like soda water, then I took two tablets with water. They then put another canula in my arm which had to stay in the whole day and we had to give blood every thirty minutes for thirty minutes then after four hours every hour. This was basically what happened for most of the days I was there.
We would get breakfast, lunch, then dinner and a snack around 10pm every day. A couple of nights we got a spinnach roll which was f***ing disgusting. On fifth day after us telling them we hated them they gave them us again and we were pissed off to f***. So we watched them type in the code on the door and when all the staff left, we typed it in and stole a snack bar each and a ribena each!! it was f***ing amazing as the whole time I was there you were only allowed water.
The next morning after giving a piss sample, everybody got asked if had anything to eat after our snack because our sugar levels were really high haha everybody said no.

On the final day, we done a physical test, eyes test, and got a cheque for $2000. Definately the easiest money I have ever made. I got back to coffee palace and ended up getting pissed after a week of no drinking. Was wierd being sober for so long.

The next day we had an all day drink session hawaii theme. Was so funny. Everybody who I knew in Melbourne come down to see me as I was leaving the next day.
