After spending a day too long in Bangkok sorting out visas for Vietnam, we board the sky train and get off at some place unknown, for a bus ride to Ayuthaya, a city full of temples, or wats. After wandering around for about an hour trying to find the bus stop that we should be waiting at, I felt very faint and it was Steve to the rescue with his water soaked bandana. Very scary, I didn't think I would ever make it onto the bus. A quick journey found us in Ayuthaya. We walked around trying to find a nice place to stay, it was our first year anniversary ... we found a 'nice' place ... ants in the bed and a shower that had one stream ... yep, the single stream jobbie, of cold water. Needless to say we weren't very impressed!!
