I have now officially lost track of days and dates, that's probably due to doing so much in such little time!
After thinking hard about it we've been in Phuket for our maximum 3 days (not including travel to and from) and so far we have soaked in the culture, tasted some traditional thai dishes, which are so tasty and cheap! Then onto a day of activities including white water rafting, quad biking, elephant riding, nature walk and yesterday. The following day was absolutely amazing and included spending some time in a tiger enclosure whilst having pictures taken with us sat next to them, lying on them and stroking their soft furry bellies - ya know like ya do :/ a little nerve wrecking but mesmerising at the same time - won't get to do that again any time soon! After that strange and surreal experience we headed to Pa Tong beach to catch some rays, cant beat a good bit of sun, sand and sea!
We stayed for the evening to catch up with Darwen friends Jamie and Liam who had arrived in Pa Tong for their Christmas holiday break. We grabbed some food and experienced the night life and Oh My God it's unreal, imagine Ibiza, Vegas and Thailand all mixed into one and you can kind of imagine the experience - some amazing lighting, house music and jaw dropping dancers! A night to remember that's for sure! After having a few drinks and some good fun we sadly and sensibly had to head back to out hotel to catch some zzzzzs before getting an early start to leave Phuket in order to ferry! .........
