Hi everyone!
Thanks for the comments and messages - sorry to hear Burnley are doing so badly, but I doubt many other people care about that. Yes I agree Roy needs his hair cutting, but I think he's quite attached to the 'wind-through-my-glorious-locks' look. And Jill, hope you're having a lovely time in Grenada - we're still allowed to be jealous!
Since leaving Dunedin we stopped along the east coast to see the Moeraki boulders - massive limestone rocks that are just on the beach, but it's like someone rolled them there. Someone really strong. So we had fun taking photos there. Then we arrived in Oamarau, stayed in the cool old hostel and saw more penguins - yelloweyed ones which are apparently quite rare. The next day we drove to Mount Cook (biggest mountain in Australasia), via the elephant rocks - more rocks but this time on a hill. They were used in the Narnia films as Aslan's lair, and are really impressive in person!
Had beautiful weather driving to Mount Cook, passing aquamarine lakes and rivers then the massive snowy mountains came into view. Stayed on a lovely little farm at a place called Twizel then the next day drove to Akaroa on the east coast, passed a few little towns along the way. Akaroa was pretty, a little French settlement. Had dolphin watching cruise this morning, saw loads of rare hector's dolphins, some penguins, sealions and plenty of birdlife. Now we're back in Christchurch after a thundery drive!
Good luck to all involved in the pantomime - break lots of legs and have a great time, really wish we could be there again. And everyone else, go and see it, I'm sure it's going to be amazing!
Keep up the messages and comments, don't leave it all to Dave...
Lots of love, Jo and Roy XxX
PS. Annie you definately work harder than Dave

Ashley you may recall, when we first made the diesicon to travel it was for a year-long career break. Then it became two years. Finally we just sold everything we
