So, first day sightseeing & pretty successful on the whole. Got a good nights sleep which was great and up for breakfast & then took the sightseeing bus up to Table Mountain. It's absolutely glorious up there, the views are stunning & I'm sure my fairly mediocre photography will not even remotely do it justice. So Cape Town is definitely sunny, which is the good news. Flight not so great, which is the bad news. To be fair, the seat was great (lovely to have a flat bed) and the staff were lovely and the PJ's are wonderful, but the ear infection still playing up and there was just enough turbulence on a regular basis to make it incredibly hard for me to sleep, so was really ready to get off the plane by about 10 hours in!!!
