After an exciting beer fuelled evening Day 3 was always going to be a quiet one. We headed off to the nearest Denny's for some coffee and breakfast accompanied by the superb 10cc and rubber bullets.
Having consumed gallons of coffee and several pounds of bacon we headed off to Walmart to see if we could see any strange people made famous by the 'Walmart emails'. We also wanted to get some travelling supplies and this writer wanted to get some basic clothing for the trip to save on the washing.
On entering the establishment I asked the nearest helper where I could find the men's section and was told it was 'just before the guns and ammo'. Priceless.
We decided to stock up on some beer for the room and bumped into Billy Idol of 'Rebel Yell' fame who was deciding on which Bourbon to purchase. PC Brick (ret) made several suggestions whilst I asked Billy if he would take a picture of us both and he duly obliged. After congratulating him on still having his natural blonde locks we made our way to the check out.
Having spent the rest of the day sorting out cameras, diaries and blogs we ventured into the in-house restaurant where we encountered a waitress who believed bottled beer should come with a straw! Having polished off a rather lovely rack of ribs we retired to the bar for some swiftys and then crashed back to the room. I was happy in the knowledge that the calorie controlled diet was still on course.
