Three state drive today - NM, Arizona and Utah.

Do not need to say much today, other than the route took us through the most beautiful, sublime and awe inspiring vistas I have ever seen. Not ashamed to say I got a little choked up today .

We're staying in the Gouldings Lodge hotel within the park. Theres only 2 hotels allowed within the monument, and this is one of them. Our room has a balcony overlooking the park. Les and I are sitting on it as I type, watching the sunset. Unforgettable.

Asked the native American in the shop, in the sacred navajo park, where the beer was. He gave me a look like I just asked the rabbi in a synagogue if he wanted a bacon sarnie. Remeniscent of the search for beer in Morocco 2 years ago........... During Ramadam. ( Remember , big G?)
