Round the world 2015
Monkey Mia is a beautiful spot in the world heritage site "Shark Bay". Our chalet looks out on the beach and each morning the Dolphins come up to the beach to be fed by volunteers and also to fish for themselves. They come into the shallows and fish in knee deep water by herding the fish like a sheep dog. In the afternoon and evening we went out on Shotover a 60 foot catamaran to see dujongs, turtles and more dolphins. In the evening the wind rose to a force 7 giving us an exhilarating sail.

Ian Muray Hi Pete and Sue and Lucy , Shark Bay sounds very inviting and your report of 47 degrees and hot winds is hard to read as I look out on the wintry scene of our front garden with only the snow drops to console me...as a humanitarian gesture could you tone down a tad your descriptions of warmth , wildlife , fast catamarans and wide open spaces !
